Our
story
Foundation of NWM Engenharia, in Curitiba.
We was born in March 1993, initially focused on automation projects and software development for industrial processes.
With four years of experience in the process automation market, NWM started projects and executions in new areas: Food Industry and Solid Bulk Handling.
It was the starting point to leverage his name in new and diverse fields.
In 1999, following a trend of taking flight in more and more market segments, NWM implemented a system that would make it possible to meet this goal. The automation and control system for conveyor belts for loading ships in the port of Paranaguá (PR) opened new doors and made NWM start to gain prominence outside the region of Curitiba (PR).
With the implementation of this work, the port of Paranaguá began to break the record for daily movement of loads successive times.
The new era that began with the year 2000 brought to NWM something new that became a watershed in our history. It was during this period that we started working with our current flagship: Sanitation.
Now, NWM, which only worked with electrical works and automation and control systems, was already promising and competent in several engineering niches.
One year after 2000, another milestone made history within NWM: we officially registered our brand.
The 2000s were one of constant evolution, the result of intense work at NWM. Gradually, we began to conquer more and more space in the Sanitation market.
In 2006, we participated in the GAN Consortium and carried out the largest sanitation automation work in the state of Paraná.
The milestone brought us recognition and more work.
A reflection of previous years, whose efforts included sanitation, among other areas, we stood out once again – this time on the national scene.
With the GAN Consortium, we implemented the largest sanitation automation system in Brazil at CAESB (DF).

In 2011, we expanded our range of activities even further. Now NWM started to work with multidisciplinary works of Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Automation Engineering.
We are at our best moment. Always looking for the best in the market, we reflect our modernization and evolution in our projects and executions.
During all these years, we gained new arms and began to operate not only in the area of automation and control. We now cover other areas of Engineering and, therefore, in the year 2022, until then NWM – Automação e Sistemas gained a new identity and was renamed NWM Engenharia.
It was also in this year of 2022 that we experienced a corporate and strategic restructuring, aimed at optimizing the response to market demands, which are growing and constant.
In synchrony with this phase of changes and evolution, our website was also revitalized, as well as the logos and visual identity. Now, what we communicate is consistent with what we deliver: quality, excellence, innovation, governance and modernity.
Also recently, understanding that, being well internally, we will reflect our essence to customers, we went through a major process of structuring and professionalization of all sectors. With this, we enable an organic and sustainable business growth.
We implemented new financial and work management and control systems and independent technical departments. In addition, we created specific and independent departments, with qualified professionals for each area, such as Budgets, Human Resources, Legal and Projects.
